The leading law firm in India, DMD Advocates advised the founders, Naman Wadhwa and Angad Singh Puri, along with the minority shareholders of Frankly Retail Private Limited (FRPL), on the sale of 100% share capital of FRPL to Articore Group Limited, a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. The definitive documents have been executed, and closing is expected shortly.
FRPL operates e-commerce marketplaces that enable creators to design and sell custom merchandise. The acquisition marks a strategic step in Articore’s expansion into India, combining FRPL’s local expertise with Articore’s global marketplace scale and fulfilment capabilities to strengthen its position in one of the fastest-growing consumer markets.
DMD Advocates assisted with the drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of all transaction documents.
