DSK Legal advised and assisted FINN Partners Limited ("Acquirer") in respect of its acquisition of health communication and marketing agency SPAG Consultants Private Limited ("SPAG") to expand its healthcare operations and its footprint in Asia. Following the acquisition, SPAG Asia will be branded as "SPAG, a Finn Partners Company."
With multiple offices in India alongside Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore, SPAG helps biopharma companies, health providers and health trade associations with marketing and communications.
The acquisition is one of the largest in Finn Partners's history, ranking alongside earlier deals for Washington DC-based Widmeyer Communications and travel marketing group Anthology, and has the potential to be one of the most significant, giving the firm more than 150 people in its Asia-Pacific operation, 100 people in its regional headquarters in Singapore and making its healthcare practice truly global having revenue of almost $50 million.
DSK Legal assisted in, inter-alia reviewing, negotiating and finalizing of the transaction documents, including regulatory filings, in relation to the transaction.
