DSK Legal is advising Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary and special purpose vehicle of Zurich Airport International AG, the concessionaire for the Zurich Airport) in the execution of the concession agreement for the 'Development of Greenfield Noida International Airport on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer' basis at Jewar, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh with Noida International Airport Limited.

DSK Legal is the legal advisor to both Yamuna International Airport Private Limited and Zurich Airport International AG for this transaction.

The team representing DSK Legal comprised of Managing Partner Anand Desai; Partners Harvinder Singh & Anuja Tiwari; Principal Associate Mallika Anand; Senior Associate Amoolya Khurana and Associate, Aman Raj.

The Noida International Airport is expected to connect the cities of Agra, Mathura and Noida to the aviation network and ease passenger traffic for the IGI Airport which will reach peak capacity soon. The project is estimated to cost INR 29,650 crore and is proposed to be developed in 4 phases with an ultimate capacity of more than 70 million passengers per annum.

The Airport will be built under a PPP model on a DBFOT basis with the concessionaire being entitled to charge a premium per passenger under the concession agreement.

The first phase of the airport is expected to be completed by 2024.
