Khaitan & Co advised Daiwa Securities Group Inc on its proposed investment in Ambit Wealth Private Limited

The leading law firm Khaitan & Co advised Daiwa Securities Group Inc on its proposed investment in Ambit Wealth Private Limited (dba Ambit GPC), the wealth management arm of the Ambit Group, for a ~15% equity stake. The investment is aimed at capitalizing growth opportunities for AWPL within India’s wealth management sector. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals in India.

Khaitan & Co advised Daiwa on all aspects of the transaction, including legal due diligence, regulatory compliance, and negotiation of transaction documents.
