Khaitan & Co recently advised Firstsource Solutions (FSL), a prominent player in India's BPO industry, as it finalized the acquisition of Quintessence Business Solutions & Services (QBSS).
The acquisition, structured on a cash-free and debt-free basis, amounted to USD 39.25 million. QBSS, headquartered in Chennai, specializes in providing revenue cycle management services to Healthcare service providers and their intermediaries in the United States.
Partners Kapish Mandhyan, Shourya Sengupta, along with Principal Associate Sruti Baid, Associate Karishma Sethia, and Associate Unnati Khanna, led the deal at Khaitan & Co Their efforts were complemented by Partner Shailendra Bhandare, overseeing Intellectual Property matters, Partner Abhinav Rastogi Handling Employment issues, Counsel Sumantra Bose addressing Data Privacy Concerns, and Partner Mayank Jain Managing Indirect Tax considerations.
