The New York City headquartered law firm advises Nuance Communications in its $19.7 billion sale to Microsoft

International law firm Paul, Weiss is advising Nuance Communications, Inc. in its $19.7 billion sale to Microsoft Corp. The all-cash transaction, inclusive of Nuance's net debt, combines solutions and expertise to deliver new cloud and AI capabilities across healthcare and other industries.

Nuance is a pioneer and a leading provider of conversational AI and cloud-based ambient clinical intelligence for healthcare providers.

The Paul, Weiss' 24-member strong team was led by partners Scott Barshay, Rachael Coffey, Jean McLoughlin and Steven Williams, and includes corporate partners Caith Kushner and John Kennedy, and counsel David Sobel, Sophia Gui and Jason Tyler.
