Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised sellers on Nazara Technologies’ stake acquisition in Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems

The leading law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised the sellers on the acquisition by Nazara Technologies Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Nazara Technologies UK Limited, of a 50% controlling stake in Bluetile Games S.L. (formerly Playvalve S.L.) and BestPlay Systems S.L., for an initial consideration of approximately USD 100.3 million (~INR 918 crores). The completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions.

Bluetile and BestPlay operate a diversified portfolio of globally popular casual and social mobile games, including titles such as Yatzy, Domino Legends, Mahjong Voyage, and Spade Stars. The transaction strengthens Nazara’s presence in the global mobile gaming ecosystem, providing access to Bluetile and BestPlay’s portfolio and leveraging AI-assisted development capabilities.
