Trilegal advised Signature Global on ~INR 1,283 crore strategic investment by RMZ for Gurugram mixed-use project

The leading Indian law firm, Trilegal, advised Signature Global (India) Limited and its wholly owned subsidiary, Gurugram Commercity Limited, on a ~INR 1,283 crore purchase and subscription of shares by RMZ (Millennia Realtors Private Limited). The investment results in the formation of a 50:50 joint venture at Gurugram Commercity Limited to develop a large-scale mixed-use project in Gurugram, with an estimated capital value of ~INR 14,000–16,000 crore. The development will comprise premium office buildings, hotel assets, and curated retail space, envisioned as a design-led commercial district along the Southern Peripheral Road, utilizing approximately 3.94 million square feet of FSI.

This project represents Signature’s first large-scale commercial real estate development within its existing land portfolio, marking a strategically significant milestone in its diversification strategy. The transaction reflects a strategic collaboration combining development expertise and institutional commercial real estate capability to create a landmark destination in one of India’s most active business corridors.

Trilegal advised on all aspects of the transaction, including structuring, documentation, negotiations, and closing.
