Clyde & Co advised Pearl Infrastructure Capital on its strategic investment in Energy Pool

The Global Law firm, Clyde & Co advised Pearl Infrastructure Capital on its strategic investment worth tens of millions of euros in Energy Pool, a leading player in energy flexibility and energy consumption optimisation solutions. The investment was made via its second fund, Pearl Infrastructure Capital II SCA, RAIF, a private equity investment fund specialising in infrastructure and systems related to the energy transition and the circular economy. The fund completed its final closing in June 2025 with total commitments of €311 million and is dedicated to supporting the energy transition and circular economy in Europe.

With this transaction, Pearl Infrastructure Capital II SCA, RAIF became the majority shareholder in Energy Pool. Energy Pool, a French Greentech player with over fifteen years of expertise and advanced technologies in energy system flexibility and optimisation, is positioning itself as a key partner in the global energy transition.

The transaction reinforces Pearl Infrastructure Capital’s commitment to driving the global energy transition and supporting innovative industrial energy management solutions. This investment complements its existing assets in controllable renewable energy production units for industrial customers (cogeneration, biofuels) and is supported by the European Union through the InvestEU Fund.

The Clyde & Co Corporate/M&A team advising on the transaction was led by Julie Cornely (Partner), with support from Manon Oravec (Associate).
