Harneys Appoints Sabrina Devenish as Partner in Dubai
The global offshore law firm, Harneys has strengthened its Litigation & Insolvency practice with the appointment of Sabrina Devenish (FCIArb) as a partner in its Dubai office.
Sabrina brings over a decade of expertise in cross-border litigation, advising both private and sovereign clients on complex, high-profile disputes. Her practice focuses on shareholder disputes, private wealth disputes, and matters involving family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of industries and sectors.
Experience
Sabrina Devenish joined Harneys in March 2026 as Partner in the firm’s Litigation & Insolvency practice in Dubai. Prior to joining, she served as Senior Associate in the International Dispute Resolution practice at Al Tamimi & Company (2024–2026), advising across the firm’s Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh offices.
Before that, she spent five years at Clyde & Co, working across London, Riyadh, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, advising on international arbitration and complex dispute resolution matters. Earlier in her career, Sabrina was an Associate in Dispute Resolution at Fox Williams in London and gained experience in investment arbitration at Quinn Emanuel. She also completed training in international commercial arbitration at WilmerHale, served as a postgraduate law clerk at the Higher Regional Court Frankfurt am Main, and held earlier legal and consulting roles in Germany and the United States.
Education
Sabrina holds a Diploma in International Arbitration from CIArb/Oxford (2018) and obtained Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) in 2019. She qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales through the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Scheme. She studied Law at Humboldt University Berlin, completing the German Bar Exam, and also holds a Diploma in Economics and Business Administration from Freie Universität Berlin.
