Ericsson has appointed Filippo Cossalter as the new Head of Legal for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Cossalter, who has been with Ericsson for the past eight months, had been serving as the Regional General Counsel for the Middle East and Africa (MMEA) prior to this appointment. His promotion marks a strategic step in strengthening the legal leadership across one of the company’s most dynamic and diverse markets.
Cossalter began his legal career in 2001 as a stageur at Ebismedia, part of the Fastweb Group. From 2004 to 2011, he worked with the Italian multinational Barilla. He later joined Johnson & Johnson, where he spent more than 13 years in various senior legal positions, including Head of Legal, gaining deep experience in navigating complex legal, regulatory, and compliance landscapes across global markets.
With this appointment, Ericsson reinforces its commitment to legal excellence and governance in the EMEA region.
