Hogan Lovells and Fried Frank advised on NEXT’s acquisition of the British footwear brand Russell & Bromley. NEXT Plc has acquired the brand out of administration for £2.5 million in cash, with an additional £1.3 million for stock. The acquisition included the Russell & Bromley name and intellectual property.

The Fried Frank advised NEXT Plc on the transaction. The Fried Frank team was led by Ashley Katz (Partner), with support from Amy Faraday (Associate) and Eshan Khot (Associate).

The Hogan Lovells advised Russell & Bromley. The Hogan Lovells team was led by James Maltby (Partner), with support from Simon Grimshaw (Partner), Camilla Eliott Lockhart (Counsel), and David Antrobus (Associate).

Russell & Bromley, established in 1880, specialises in luxury shoes and handbags for men and women.
