Kirkland Advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners On Strategic Carbon Capture Joint Venture With BKV


Kirkland & Ellis advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) on a strategic joint venture between the CI Energy Transition Fund, managed by CIP, and BKV dCarbon Ventures, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BKV Corporation (NYSE: BKV). The collaboration aims to significantly expand BKV’s portfolio of carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) projects across the United States.

This joint venture brings together two industry leaders committed to pioneering innovative technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in alignment with global net-zero goals.
