The global law firm, Latham & Watkins advised TotalEnergies on the proposed establishment of a joint venture with Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC (Masdar), April 7, 2026. The transaction involves a US$2.2 billion 50/50 joint venture to combine their onshore renewable energy businesses across nine countries in Asia.
The joint venture aims to strengthen both parties’ renewable energy footprint in Asia by consolidating their existing operations, enhancing scale, and accelerating the development of sustainable energy solutions across key markets.
