Stephenson Harwood Advised Enviroo on Landmark PET Facility

Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Enviroo Project Co Limited on the development of a waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle-to-bottle washing line and pellet extrusion facility in Protos, Cheshire, UK.

Enviroo, a pioneering company in the recycling industry, is known for its innovation in PET recycling. This landmark project is Enviroo’s first facility of its kind, aiming to produce food-grade polymer from recycled PET bottles. Financed by infrastructure asset manager Reichmuth Infrastructure, the development signifies a major step forward in sustainable manufacturing and aligns with Enviroo’s mission to drive innovation in environmental solutions.

The Stephenson Harwood team was led by Jonathan Cripps (Projects, Energy and Infrastructure Partner), with support from Stewart Scott (Partner), Phil Harris and Richard Pike (Managing Associates), and Maneet Sehmi, Francesca Cadoux-Hudson, Georgina Shenton, Sophie-Anne Brown, and Isabella Clark (Associates).
