MENA law major firm says the new in-house promotions reflect its expertise and in-depth strength across offices and practices

Al Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm of the MENA region, has announced six in-house promotions, taking its partner count to 88, across its 17 offices located in 10 countries.

The firm has stated that the new partner appointments underline its expertise and in-depth strength across its offices and practice areas.

The exercise witnessed recognising and reward of the dedication and commitment of its lawyers with promotions as partners. The in-house promotions have been done from the firm's Construction and Infrastructure, Employment and Incentives, Intellectual Property, Banking and Finance, and Litigation departments.

It is a continuation of an exercise the firm had started sometime back as over the last two years it has promoted 19 lawyers as partners.

Those promoted in the recent round include Bahrain-based Litigation practice lawyer Noor Al Rayes and Saudi Arabia-based Mohsin Khan who advises local and international clients on a variety of sectors including contentious and non-conrtentious employment-related issues.

The remaining four lawyers promoted to partners are UAE-based. Among them is Aisha Al Marzougi who was a senior associate in the Litigation practice at its Abu Dhabi office and Euan Lloyd who leads Al Tamimi & Company's construction & infrastructure practice.

Sakshi Puri and Ahmad Zara are the other two UAE-based lawyers to get promoted as partners.

While Puri primarily focuses on syndicated lending transactions for asset finance, acquisition finance and project finance, Ahmad Zara is an IP expert. Zara practices in IP, IT, media, transactional contracts and IP litigations.

"As a firm, we believe in acknowledging the dedication of our people and are committed to support their development, and for our new Partners, this is a very well-deserved recognition," Samer Qudah, managing partner at Al Tamimi & Company stated.

Samar Qudah further said that the partnership for a lawyer is a significant career milestone. "This promotion is testament to not only their talent, but the hard work they put into their careers and making Al Tamimi & Company a success," Qudah added.
