Etelka Bogardi joins Reed Smith as Partner in Financial Industry Group in Asia
U.S. law firm Reed Smith has appointed Etelka Bogardi as a partner in its financial industry group in Asia. Bogardi joins the firm from Norton Rose Fulbright, where she served as Asia head of fintech and financial services regulatory.
Based in Singapore, Bogardi will work closely with Reed Smith’s Hong Kong office to support clients across Asia’s leading financial centres. She brings more than 20 years of experience advising international financial institutions, investment funds, asset managers, insurers, and fintech companies on regulatory matters, including licensing, cross-border compliance, and digital assets regulation.
Bogardi began her legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills and Freshfields and later served as senior counsel at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority before joining Norton Rose Fulbright in 2017.

With Bogardi’s addition, Reed Smith’s Singapore office now comprises 32 lawyers, including 12 partners. Earlier in 2025, the office saw the departure of financial regulatory partner Hagen Rooke to Gibson Dunn and welcomed corporate finance partner Tim Beech from A&O Shearman.
