The International law firm Bird & Bird has re-elected Christian Bartsch as its Chief Executive Officer for a further four-year term. He has been serving as CEO since April 2022.
During his tenure, Christian spearheaded the launch of the firm’s five-year strategy in May 2024, focusing on strengthening client relationships and enhancing people-driven initiatives across the firm.
The firm has continued its strong growth trajectory, marking its 33rd consecutive year of growth. Over the past three years, revenue has increased by 28%, with an average annual growth rate of 9%. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded its global footprint with new office openings in Tokyo (2024), and Riyadh and Lisbon (2025).
In February 2025, the firm became one of the first international law firms to roll out Legora globally, reinforcing its commitment to legal technology and innovation. It continues to expand its LegalTech & Innovation team to meet evolving client demands.
