The pan-African law firm, ADNA, has appointed Serge Nawej Tshitemb’u as Partner as it expands its presence with the launch of a new office in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Serge Nawej Tshitemb’u joins ADNA as Partner and will lead the firm’s Kinshasa office. With over 20 years of experience, he advises an international client base, including investors, financial institutions, and industrial groups, on complex, high-value transactions across sectors such as mining, energy, infrastructure, banking, and telecommunications.
He has been involved in transactions representing several billion US dollars and is widely recognised for his expertise in navigating sophisticated legal, financial, and regulatory environments.
Prior to joining ADNA, he served as Managing Partner at ProximA Law and ProximA International in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and has also held leadership roles including Chairman of Bravura Congo SA and Legal & Business Strategy Advisor at Gea Solar. Earlier in his career, he practised with DLA Piper as part of its Africa team and began his legal journey at the Barreau de Bruxelles.
Serge Nawej Tshitemb’u said,
“I am pleased to announce that I am now a Partner at ADNA.”
Serge studied law in Belgium at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where he obtained a degree in private law followed by an LLM in International Business Law. This development highlights ADNA’s continued strategic expansion across key African markets and strengthens its ability to advise on complex, cross-border transactions.
