The UAE-based law firm Habib Al Mulla and Partners has announced the appointment of Areen Jayousi as Senior Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, reinforcing the firm’s capabilities in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, insolvency, and financial crime matters.

Areen Jayousi brings over 18 years of experience advising on sophisticated commercial disputes across the UAE and the wider region. He possesses extensive expertise in UAE onshore litigation and has substantial experience handling matters in offshore jurisdictions, including the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

A qualified Solicitor of England and Wales, Jayousi is widely recognised for his ability to navigate both civil law and common law systems, particularly in cross-border disputes. He regularly represents clients in major international arbitrations conducted under DIAC, ICC, SCCA, IICRA, and ArbitrateAD rules, acting both as counsel and arbitrator.

His practice spans real estate and construction disputes, banking and insolvency litigation, and financial crime matters. He has been consistently ranked as Band 1 by Chambers and Partners and is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500, reflecting his strong market reputation.
