Norton Rose Fulbright Expands its Presence in Saudi Arabia Through a New Alliance

Norton Rose Fulbright has established an association with The Company of Mohammed A. Altammami for Legal Services, a law firm based in Riyadh. The association will see the two firms working together in the areas of corporate and M&A, litigation and disputes, banking and finance, and projects.

The team will consist of partners Mohammed Altammami, Anwar Ouazzani, Abdulkhaliq Elshayyal (previously from Clifford Chance) and Norton Rose Fulbright partner David Johnston. With a total of 16 lawyers and legal support staff, the combined Saudi offering of the two firms will be strengthened.

The quartet of partners will collaborate closely with Norton Rose Fulbright's Robin Balmer and Zayd Alathari, who are situated in Dubai and provide counsel to enterprises conducting operations in Saudi Arabia concerning intricate intellectual property, banking, and finance matters.

Mohammed Paracha, who leads Norton Rose Fulbright's Middle East practice, stated that the firm has been present in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 18 years and is dedicated to the market's growth and Vision 2030, in collaboration with local partners.

“Our on-the-ground investment will extend the breadth of our offering to clients. Saudi Arabia is the second fastest growing economy in the world, and we are delighted to be entering into a new relationship with The Company of Mohammed A. Altammami for Legal Services to continue providing seamless legal support to our international and Saudi-based clients on their inbound and outbound activities.
