Simmons & Simmons Announces Plans To Establish Office In Riyadh

It will be headed by the firm’s new partner Amer Al Amr

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the strengthening of its Middle East practice by establishing an office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

With its strong presence in the region, the move, subject to regulatory approval from the national authorities, will create the firm’s first office in Saudi Arabia. KSA is considered one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, and the largest in the Middle East.

Simmons’ Riyadh operations will bolster its offering in the region across its chosen sectors – asset management and investment funds, financial institutions, healthcare and life sciences, and technology, media, and telecommunications.

The office will be headed by the firm’s new partner Amer Al Amr, a leading Saudi lawyer with over 20 years of experience of operating in the KSA. He will be supported by a strong team comprising disputes partner Niall Clancy, KSA nationals, and international colleagues.
