Wells Fargo has appointed Shweta Pandey as Head of Legal – India & the Philippines, strengthening its legal leadership across key markets in the region.
Shweta Pandey shared the update, stating,

Shweta Pandey brings extensive experience in legal, compliance, and corporate advisory roles across leading multinational organisations. She most recently served as Vice President – Legal & Compliance at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where she led legal strategy, compliance frameworks, and internal investigations.
Prior to this, she held leadership roles at Target Corporation India, where she served as Director Counsel and earlier as Senior Manager – Legal, overseeing employee relations, compliance, and complex commercial transactions. She has also worked with IBM India as Senior Attorney and Attorney, advising on high-value contracts, regulatory matters, and cross-border transactions across the India and South Asia region.
Earlier in her career, she was associated with Infosys as part of the Americas Commercial Transactions team and began her legal career at Amarchand Mangaldas, where she worked on general corporate and mergers and acquisitions matters.
