Subramaniam & Associates Promotes Sanuj Das, Megha Lamba, and Garima Kulshreshtha to Leadership Roles

The prominent boutique intellectual property (IP) law firm based in New Delhi, India, Subramaniam & Associates (SNA) has announced the elevation of Sanuj Das to Partner, recognizing his extensive experience and contributions in IP litigation. Das has practiced intellectual property law for nearly 15 years and has been associated with SNA for the past decade.

Alongside Das, the firm has also elevated Megha Mangal Lamba and Garima Kulshreshtha to Partner Designate in its Trade Mark and Patent departments, respectively. Both Lamba and Kulshreshtha bring over 15 years of experience to their roles. Lamba specializes in trade mark prosecution, oppositions, and advisory services, while Kulshreshtha focuses on patent prosecution, oppositions, and providing freedom-to-operate opinions.

About:

Sanuj Das has practiced IP litigation for close to 15 years and brings extensive expertise in patent prosecution, litigation, and strategic advisory for multinational and domestic clients across technology, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and FMCG sectors. He has been associated with SNA for over a decade and has contributed significantly to the firm’s growth and reputation.

Experience:

Sanuj Das is currently Principal at SNA, handling patent prosecution, IP litigation, and advisory mandates while overseeing prosecution portfolios and client relationships. Prior to this, as Managing Associate, he led patent and trademark litigation strategies, prosecuted over 50 patent applications, advised clients on IP portfolio strategy, and negotiated licensing and technology agreements. Earlier, as Associate Advocate, he managed patent and trademark enforcement, appeared in civil and international labour law disputes, and undertook pro bono family dispute work. His prior experience includes roles at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and Inttl Advocare, where he handled patent appeals, licensing agreements, and IP infringement proceedings for leading global clients.

Education:

Sanuj completed his LL.B. from Law Centre II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, graduating in I Div. and participating in the Moot Court Society. He holds an M.Pharm in Nanotechnology from Dr. B.C. Roy College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences and a B.Pharm from RAM-EESH Institute of Vocational & Technical Education, both with I Div. He attended Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan-Delhi Kendra for high school, serving as Head Boy and House Vice Captain.

Megha Mangal Lamba has over 15 years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on trade mark prosecution, oppositions, and advisory. She has worked with domestic and multinational clients, supporting complex IP mandates and contributing to the firm’s expanding leadership bench.

Experience:

Megha is currently Partner Designate at SNA. She previously served as an Intellectual Property Attorney at SNA and has held roles as Managing Associate at ANAND AND ANAND and Inttl Advocare, as well as Senior Associate at ANAND AND ANAND. Across these roles, she has provided end-to-end IP advisory, managed complex trademark portfolios, and guided clients on enforcement and compliance strategies.

Garima Kulshreshtha specializes in patent prosecution, oppositions, and providing freedom-to-operate opinions. With more than 15 years of IP practice experience, she brings deep expertise in both domestic and international intellectual property management and contributes to SNA’s patent and IP leadership.

Experience:

Garima is currently an Attorney (Partner Designate) at SNA. She has also served as Senior IP Specialist at LanzaTech, Managing Associate at SNA, and Senior Associate at LEXORBIS and Obhan & Associates. She has experience in patent prosecution, IP portfolio management, contract management, and international IP advisory. Earlier, she worked as a Women Scientist under TIFAC (DST, New Delhi), training at Subramaniam Nataraj and Associates.

Education:

Garima holds an LL.B. from IME in Legal Compliance, an M.Tech in Biotechnology from Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jiwaji University, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from St. John’s College.
