Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association elects Greenberg Traurig's Tom McKee as its new president

The NVBBA supports bankruptcy attorneys practicing in the Northern Virginia area

Thomas J. McKee, Jr. of global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP has been elected as the new president of the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association (NCBBA).

McKee, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig, is the incumbent vice president of NCBBA. He will take charge as the NVBBA from September this year.

The NVBBA supports bankruptcy attorneys practicing in the Northern Virginia area, works to foster interest in bankruptcy law, and helps to facilitate the flow of information among bankruptcy lawyers, trustees, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

McKee is a commercial litigator and bankruptcy practitioner who regularly practices in state and federal courts around the country. He counsels and represents businesses and financial institutions, including national, regional, and community banks and lenders, to litigate various types of commercial disputes, including creditors' rights/enforcement matters, successor liability type issues, fiduciary duty claims, and other business torts and contract matters.
