7SIGNAL issued Patent for its Mobile Eye application enhancing network performance

7SIGNAL has been issued the US patent number 10939312. The Patent deals with an innovative method of distributed network performance management covering the approach of its Mobile Eye application to address the poor client and end-user connectivity.

This patent will further enhance the functioning of the 7SIGNAL's Mobile Eye application on wireless devices auto-detecting the poor Wi-Fi connections. The patent covers the self-managing Wi-Fi monitoring solution saving the customer time thereby, making the Wi-Fi problem identification easier through multi-factor analysis. The patent also provides an alternative to Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS). The MCS, being a critical Wi-Fi metric is used to determine the likely data rate of your Wi-Fi connections.

Russ Wangler, CTO at 7SIGNAL said, "Modern business, healthcare and manufacturing success hinges network connectivity. Too often, network engineers and IT professionals are faced with the task of troubleshooting network and device problems without the data. From handheld scanners and mobile workstations to advanced robotics and medical devices, productivity depends on connectivity. The difficulty of these tasks is compounded by employee devices connected to home networks while they work remotely. Mobile Eye is network agnostic and supports many common operating systems and versions from Windows, Linux, Android, and Mac OS."

With the grant of the patent, 7SIGNAL now has five patents for its Mobile Eye application and has 15 patents in total. For wireless experience monitoring, 7SIGNAL is a leader in this domain. The cloud-based platform identifies performance issues in the wireless networks by continuously monitoring through its outside-in approach and identifying any issues which impact application performance and digital experience.

Having a stronger approach for monitoring the network, maximizes employee productivity and operational activity and has more visibility into the edge of any enterprise or home Wi-Fi network where complex device interaction exists, and user experience matters most. It is due to these reasons that the Mobile Eye application is designed and deployed at some of the world's most innovative organizations, educational institutions, and healthcare systems.
