The Competition Commission of India (CCI) investigations have found no evidence that IndiGo and four rival carriers colluded to fix ticket prices.

The CCI probe began in 2015 after allegations that similar fares were being offered on certain routes by IndiGo, SpiceJet , GoAir, state-run Air India and the now-defunct Jet Airways.

The CCI inquiry, which included an analysis of the algorithms airlines to determine ticket fares, found that all five airlines worked independently and no cartelization was involved.

However, details of the CCI case, which was investigated in two phases, have not been made public in line with standard practice.

Senior CCI members reviewing the investigation findings have not made a final ruling and they could even extend the investigation.
