Lawyers can have free movement to offices in Delhi after UP Govt opens up borders: SCBA

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has announced through a Circular that the Uttar Pradesh Government has opened up its borders thereby facilitating free movement of lawyers except for people from hotspot areas. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has announced through a Circular that the Uttar Pradesh Government has opened up its borders thereby facilitating free movement of lawyers except for people from hotspot areas. This will allow lawyers to move from UP to Delhi to reach their offices and chambers in the national capital.

Earlier, the SCBA had approached higher authorities for relaxations for travel of lawyers.

In the circular, SCBA acting Secretary Rohit Pandey has thanked UP Law Minister Brijesh Pathak and Standing Counsel for State of UP Ms. Garima Prasad for facilitating the free movement of lawyers across the border.
