The initial public offering (IPO) of Metropolis Healthcare to raise Rs 1,200 crore was oversubscribed 5.8 times.

Advising Metropolis Healthcare was the Khaitan & Co team led by Partners Abhimanyu Bhattacharya and Aditya George Cheriyan along with Principal Associate Oishik Bagchi and Associates Aparna Bagree and Devarshi Mukhopadhyay.

Acting for BRLMs (JM Financial Limited, Credit Suisse Securities (India) Private Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, HDFC Bank Limited and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited was AZB & Partners with a team led by Partners Varoon Chandra and Lionel D'Almeida along with Associates Aditi Verma, Avanti Kale and Tripti Pandey.

Sidley Austin Acting as International legal counsel for BRLMs was Sidley Austin team led by Partners Manoj Bhargava and Ankit Kashyap.

Acting for selling shareholder Carlyle Group was L&L Partners with a team led by Partners Manan Lahoty and Manshoor Nazki along with Associates Varun Baliga and Soumya Cheedi.
