Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Amazon On Proposed Acquisition Of CapFloat Financial Services (Axio)
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) advised Amazon in relation to a proposed 100% acquisition of the digital lending platform Axio (formerly Capital Float). Axio operates a non-banking financial company under the brand ‘axio’ and is focused on providing accessible, affordable and transparent retail credit products to underserved individuals and households to drive financial inclusion in India.
CAM had previously assisted Amazon with a Series G investment round in Axio in August 2024.
The acquisition is subject to the receipt of RBI approval and completion of other conditions precedent.
