Dentons Advised Overseas Development Holding On Stake Sale To Aljozoor Alrasekha Trucking Co
The deal is a step forward in aligning the interests of two leading entities in the logistics and transportation sectors
Global law firm, Dentons has counseled Overseas Development Holding Company, a Bahrain-based entity and part of the GES Group, on sale of a majority stake in Overseas Development Company, Saudi Arabia.
The transaction involved divesting shares to Aljozoor Alrasekha Trucking Company (Rahaal), a wholly owned subsidiary of Budget Saudi, a prominent player in the Saudi Arabian market.
The deal was structured through a combination of capital raising and the sale of existing shares. By leveraging the complementary expertise and resources of the GES Group and the Budget Group, it will generate substantial synergies and enhance operational efficiency in the Saudi market.
The Dentons team was led by Riyadh-based partner, Ziad Saad. He was supported by Mohamad Al Rifai, Intesar Alkhayyal and Dima Chehade.
