Trowers & Hamlins advised Southern Housing on £2.38 billion Capital Investment Agreements programme
International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has supported Southern Housing in the procurement of its new Capital Investment Agreement programme.
The Trowers & Hamlins cross-firm team of legal experts headed by Rebecca Rees and Katie Saunders advised on the £2.38 billion procurement which was brought to market under the new Procurement Act 2023 and is one of the first Competitive Flexible Procedures to be successfully concluded under the new procurement regime.
Antony Silk, Director of Procurement at Southern Housing said,
“We have worked closely with the team at Trowers & Hamlins and our advisers to navigate the new procurement rules in order to create a streamlined competitive process that enables the market to put forward attractive and competitive bids which focus on the resident experience, quality and safety. Dr Rebecca Rees who led on the deal added,
