Aarti Rao Promoted to Partner at Hogan Lovells as Part of 2026 Global Promotions
The Global law firm, Hogan Lovells has promoted Corporate & Finance Counsel Aarti Rao to the position of Partner, effective 1 January 2026. Rao has been associated with the firm for over eight years, having joined the London office as a Senior Associate in 2017.
A 2005 alumna of National Law School of India University, Rao has extensive experience advising on securitisation, structured finance, and debt capital markets transactions. She provides guidance to lenders, arrangers, originators, and investors on asset-backed financing and both private and public securitisations across a variety of asset classes, including residential and commercial mortgages, trade receivables, lease receivables, and consumer receivables, in multiple European jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Rao gained experience at Clifford Chance LLP as a Senior Associate and Associate, and at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co as an Associate, working on matters across banking, acquisition finance, bankruptcy, corporate debt restructuring, and cross-border transactions.
With Aarti Rao’s elevation, Hogan Lovells continues to strengthen its global partnership with experienced lawyers in key practice areas and jurisdictions. Rao’s promotion forms part of Hogan Lovells Promotes 28 Lawyers To Partner And 53 To Counsel Across Global Offices. Her promotion reflects the firm’s commitment to supporting clients in complex corporate and financial matters, while fostering leadership within the firm’s next generation of legal experts.
