Vikram Sobti Partner at Chandhiok & Mahajan Quits to Join Emaar India as General Counsel
Vikram Sobti Partner at Chandhiok & Mahajan Quits to Join Emaar India as General Counsel
Chandhiok & Mahajan Partner Vikram Sobti has quit the law firm to join Emaar India as General Counsel.
He graduated in 2010 from Delhi University and started his career in law at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices.
Sobti is a veteran lawyer in dispute resolution and competition law. He holds substantive work experience both in domestic and international commercial arbitration, which makes him the go-to advisor for clients in the engineering and construction, telecommunications, commercial contracts, and banking and finance sectors.
After three at Luthra & Luthra, Sobti joined Chandhiok & Mahajan as Managing Associate and after 5 years, he was elevated to Partner in August 2018.
On Sobti’s parting from the firm, Pooja Mahajan, Managing Partner, commented,
“Vikram is an incredible lawyer and we will be forever grateful for his immense contribution to C&M. Emaar has been a client of C&M for nearly a decade and Vikram has been part of that team since its inception. With Vikram now at Emaar, we will continue to work as a team. We are really excited for him and proud of his success.”
