AZB & Partners advises AAK AB Acquisition of shares of its joint venture in India

Aarhus Karlshamn Holding AB (subsidiary of AAK AB) has acquired the remaining shares of its joint venture in India with AAK Kamani Private Limited ("AAK Kamani"). After the conclusion deal, AAK now owns 100% of AAK Kamani.

According to a press release, although the ongoing pandemic has brought many challenges to business operations across the world, Dheeraj Talreja, President AAK India, emphasized that his team has shown resilience and adaptability throughout the year. He added, "We are very grateful for the support and loyalty we have received from all stakeholders. Despite the current challenges, 'Incredible India' remains one of the most exciting food ingredients markets in the world due to its sheer size, gastronomic diversity and development potential."

AZB & Partners assisted Aarhus Karlshamn Holding AB in the acquisition by of remaining 31% shareholding of AAK Kamani.
