The leading global law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel to Goldman Sachs, an existing shareholder in Pepperfry Limited, in connection with the acquisition of a significant majority stake in Pepperfry by TCC Concept Limited (“TCC”), structured via the issuance of TCC shares to the existing Pepperfry shareholders.
The transaction involved careful structuring to address the regulatory and compliance complexities arising from TCC being a listed company. The firm also provided advice on competition law aspects under the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
