The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Bhansali Productions Pvt. Ltd. (“BPPL”) and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on a strategic partnership with Saregama India Limited, a listed company of the RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group (“Saregama”).

Under the partnership, Saregama acquires a significant minority equity stake in BPPL and secures exclusive music rights for all future Bhansali films. The transaction aligns Bhansali Productions’ film and OTT content capabilities with Saregama’s music and live events business, reflecting a strategic focus on partnerships over in-house film production.
