DSK Legal advised Velbiom Probiotics on slump sale of branded prescription-based probiotics business to Eris Lifesciences

The leading law firm in India, DSK Legal advised and assisted Velbiom Probiotics Private Limited (“Velbiom”) in connection with the transfer of its branded prescription-based probiotics business to Eris Lifesciences Limited (“Eris”) on a slump sale basis, for a deal value of INR 50 crores.

Velbiom Probiotics Private Limited is engaged in developing and offering a wide range of disease-specific, strain-specific and site-specific probiotic products focused on gut health and overall wellness.

DSK Legal provided end-to-end transaction support, including:
(a) drafting, reviewing, revising, negotiating and finalising the business transfer agreement, trademark assignment deed and ancillary documents required to consummate the transaction; and
(b) assisting in the closing of the transaction.
