Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. successfully represented Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (now known as Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited) (Sony) and Bangla Entertainment Private Limited (BEPL), before the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
The transaction has been approved with certain modifications by the Competition Commission of India on 4 October 2022.
The transaction relates to each of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and BEPL's amalgamation with and into Sony.
SAM & Co.
