The global law firm, Dentons has advised The Arab Energy Fund, a leading multilateral impact financial institution, on the acquisition of a strategic minority stake in Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (Apsco). The stake was acquired from Haji Abdullah Alireza & Company Ltd, marking a strategic partnership aimed at supporting Apsco’s long-term growth and operational excellence across its core business segments.
Apsco is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading downstream petroleum companies, with operations spanning aviation fuel supply at airports, the manufacture and distribution of fuel lubricants, and the operation of a network of branded petrol stations. Through this investment, The Arab Energy Fund seeks to support Apsco’s growth strategy, operational efficiency, and geographic expansion while leveraging its regional expertise, institutional network, and sector knowledge.
