OBH Lawyers opens first European office in Rome

The Dubai-based law firm OBH Lawyers has officialised the opening of its first European office in Rome, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s international growth and expansion strategy. The new office strengthens OBH Lawyers’ presence across Europe and the Middle East, operating under a single governance model with an integrated boutique structure.

With this launch, OBH Lawyers brings to the Italian market a model previously unseen — a Middle East–origin international law firm structured as a fully integrated boutique, advising Italian and international clients on complex cross-border transactions. The firm’s advisory offering spans corporate, M&A, energy, and international investments, delivered through a unified approach operating seamlessly between Europe and the Middle East with one firm, one governance, and one shared vision. Rome becomes OBH Lawyers’ first European foothold and a strategic point in strengthening an increasingly important legal and business corridor between both regions.

The Rome office has been established under the leadership of Antonio Biasi (Partner – Global Head of Corporate Department and Head of Europe), who will lead the newly opened office and drive the firm’s European expansion while supporting Italian and international clients on high-value transactions across jurisdictions.

Antonio Biasi (Partner – Global Head of Corporate Department and Head of Europe) said,

"Today is a big day for OBH Lawyers. With the opening of our first European office in Rome, we are marking an important milestone in a journey that started in Dubai with a clear vision: building a single, truly international boutique law firm. Rome is not just a new office — it is the first step of our European expansion and a strategic bridge between the Middle East and Europe. I am deeply grateful to our founding partners Omar Khalifa Bin Hareb Mohammed Al Shobaki FCIArb for their trust, commitment and long-term vision. This achievement is the result of what we have built together, step by step. This is only the beginning, and I am excited for what lies ahead!"

The opening reflects OBH Lawyers’ commitment to building an integrated platform capable of advising on sophisticated Europe–Middle East cross-border matters, with Rome positioned as a key hub in the firm’s next phase of growth.
