UK Firm Fenchurch Law Expands to Singapore
Insurance-focused law firm Fenchurch Law has taken a significant leap beyond its UK roots by announcing plans to establish an office in Singapore. This strategic move positions Singapore as Fenchurch’s Asia hub, allowing the firm to engage with policyholders and brokers across the island nation and the broader Asia-Pacific region in high-value commercial insurance disputes.
Founded in 2010, Fenchurch recently underwent a transformative shift by transitioning to an employee-owned business model through the launch of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). Remarkably, 60 per cent of the firm’s shares were awarded to its dedicated team. Notably, Fenchurch Law will be the first EOT business to operate in Singapore.
David Pryce, the firm’s managing partner, expressed their purpose-driven mission: “We exist to level the playing field between policyholders and insurers. This need transcends borders, and we are thrilled to take our first international step by opening our Singapore office.”
