The head of legal at Gett has been hired as the General Counsel at London-based startup Infinium Logistics.

Fletcher brings decades of legal experience to Infinium, including stints at Deliveroo, Amazon and Gett.

Infinium has just launched what it claims is the world's first dedicated EV fleet charging real estate fund. Investing in Fleet Hubs, a new sustainable asset class combining commercial real estate and low carbon energy infrastructure, the fund, which was oversubscribed by investors, is intended to decarbonise and electrify the final mile sector.

Infinium emphasized Fletcher's ability to build and scale legal and compliance functions within rapid growth environments.

Previously, he served as legal chief of Gett, a ground transportation management platform that serves a quarter of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Deliveroo, he held roles such as Legal Counsel for Amazon Logistics and EU real estate for seven years.

As a solicitor at CMS in London, he worked on a range of real estate, real estate finance, and project work since 2004.

Along with Fletcher, Infinium has hired Tom Gough to lead its property investment strategy from Legal & General Investment Management, where he was portfolio manager. The company also hired Ben Clark from Amazon for the newly-created role of acquisitions manager, leading the acquisition of sites for EV Fleet Hubs and HGV truck stops.

It is expected that the new hires will enable the company to "take a significant step forward" in its transaction capabilities and its ability to secure an innovative deal pipeline as it seeks to deploy capital quickly to capture the transfer of transportation spend into real estate in the next few months.

In addition to bringing significant experience in sourcing deal flow on and off-market, structuring complex transactions, and scaling platforms, Tom, Chris, and Ben are welcome additions to our team.
