Renew Photovoltaics Welcomes Ambika Pratiyush as Head of Legal
Ambika Pratiyush has joined Renew Photovoltaics Private Limited (Manufacturing) as Head of Legal, effective December 2025. In her new role, she will oversee the company’s legal strategy, compliance, and corporate governance, supporting its manufacturing and operational activities.
Prior to this appointment, Ambika served in leadership roles at ReNew, including Head Legal – Contracts & Litigation (October 2024 – Present) and Legal Head – Contracts (November 2023 – Present). She was also General Counsel and Group Legal Head at Spark Minda Group (September 2022 – October 2023), where she managed day-to-day legal affairs, strategy, agreements, litigations, and company policies in alignment with senior management objectives.
Ambika has extensive experience in corporate, contracts, litigation, and regulatory matters, having previously worked at L&L Partners (formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices), Bambha & Nandan Associates, MAP Corporate Legal, and Keshav Kaushik & Associates. Her early career included internships at leading firms such as Wadia Ghandy & Co., Gabriel Pillai & Associates, and Fox Mandal Little & Co..
She holds an LLM in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Kurukshetra University (2014–2016) and a B.L.S, LL.B from SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law (2007–2012). Ambika was recognized as a “Winner” in the Legal Era Women in Law Excellence Awards 2023 in the Group General Counsel category and is a frequent speaker at legal conferences, focusing on areas such as Generative AI and cybersecurity.
Renew Photovoltaics Private Limited (RPVPL) is the solar manufacturing arm of ReNew, one of India's largest decarbonization and renewable energy companies. Incorporated in November 2020, the company is a step-down subsidiary of the NASDAQ-listed ReNew Energy Global PLC.
