Ritesh Kumar joins J Sagar Associates as tax director in Bengaluru

He was earlier serving at IndusLaw as executive director

Ritesh Kumar has joined J Sagar Associates as a director to further strengthen the firm's tax practice.

With over 15 years of experience as a consultant, he is apt at handling tax litigation matters and tax policy representations before CBDT and other statutory bodies. A specialist in transaction structuring, tax policy, tax planning and strategy and international tax advisory, he has advised businesses on fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and structuring private equity investments.

Previously, Kumar led IndusLaw's tax practice group and spent over a decade at EY India, including advising clients in the areas of corporate governance, risk management and business performance improvement.

He is also a part of the advocacy committee with the Indian Association of Alternate Investment Funds.
