Rainshine Entertainment Private Limited (REPL), a media and entertainment company was co-founded by Neeraj Bhargava, Mihir Modi and Anuraag Srivastava in 2018. The company aims to acquire and grow digital entertainment brands primarily in the world’s most attractive market for digital content, India, with the aspiration of building a global business.
The primary focus of the company will be to create content across four genres viz., drama, comedy, music and kids/fantasy.
In the past, Rainshine has partnered with significant stakes in production house Culture Machine, Weirdass Comedy, and Kinsane Entertainment. The company has its creative and management teams located in Mumbai, Los Angeles, New York, Chennai and Hyderabad.
Arun Sarin, the former global CEO of Vodafone joined the Rainshine Board as Non-Executive Director and Sarin Family India LLC has acquired certain compulsorily convertible preference shares of REPL.
Anil Kasturi, Jaishree Tolani and Siddharth Khanna from AZB & Partners and Associate Prerana Malhotra advised Sarin Family India LLC in this dealing.
