Claiming its filings are justified, the company plans to challenge the order

InterGlobe Aviation Limited is facing a penalty of Rs.1,30,40,966 after a tax officer disallowed it Input Tax Credit ITC) for the Financial Year 2020-21.

InterGlobe Aviation stated, “The company is likely to challenge the order before an appropriate authority. We believe that we have accurately availed Input Tax credit and find merit in the case. We are evaluating necessary legal recourse under the applicable law, including filing an appeal.”

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
