Retired Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Madan Lokur took oath as the Judge of the non-resident panel in the Supreme Court of Fiji on 12th August 2019.Justice Lokur retired as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 31st December, 2018 after a six year long tenure. Retired Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Madan Lokur took oath as the Judge of the non-resident panel in the Supreme Court of Fiji on 12th August 2019.

Justice Lokur retired as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 31st December, 2018 after a six year long tenure. He had become a Judge of the Supreme Court on 4th June, 2012.

The Supreme Court of Fiji has three sessions in a year and Justice Lokur would attend the August session from 15th August to 30th August 2019. His tenure as the Supreme Court Judge of Fiji would be for three years.

Justice Lokur took an oath on the Bhagvad Gita.
