Obhan & Associates act on Okinawa Autotech JV with Tacita

The company will be incorporated in India and production of the electric two-wheelers will begin in 2023

Okinawa Autotech, a leading Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has entered into a joint-venture with Tacita, an Italian electric and performance motorcycle manufacturer, for manufacturing electric two-wheelers.

Both the parties will work to develop new scooters and motorcycles and the joint-venture company will target the domestic as well as the international market.

Obhan & Associates acted as the legal counsel to Okinawa and assisted in drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, including the joint-venture agreement between the parties.

The transaction team comprised Ashima Obhan (Senior Partner), Akanksha Dua (Principal Associate), and Seerat Bhutani (Associate).
