Ran An brings deep experience at the intersection of M&A, Mainland China-related matters, and competition/antitrust. She supports clients through the full lifecycle of strategic transactions—from regulatory compliance and structuring to negotiations and post-closing integration. Ran’s ability to bridge commercial objectives with operational realities across different markets makes her a trusted advisor for companies navigating Japan–China and broader international transactions. She is admitted in New York, registered as a Gaikokuho-Jimu-Bengoshi in Japan, and has completed an international secondment with Herbert Smith Freehills in Hong Kong. Ran also contributes to the next generation of legal talent as a part-time lecturer at Kobe University Graduate School of Law, and works fluently in Chinese (native), English, and Japanese.
Aparat Sanpibul brings extensive on-the-ground experience across Thailand and the Lao PDR, advising clients on banking and finance, real estate, M&A, personal data protection, intellectual property, and Lao law. She supports transactions and regulatory matters end-to-end across the Mekong region, helping clients align deal execution with local legal requirements, commercial realities, and cross-border coordination. Aparat built her regional expertise at ZICO Law in both Thailand and Laos. She holds an LL.B. (Second-Class Honors) from Thammasat University and an LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law (Merit) from Queen Mary University of London. Aparat is qualified in Thailand and works fluently in Thai, English, and Lao.
